The WebCheckout Patron Initiated Reservations module (PIR) provides public access to browse and schedule resources in WebCheckout. PIR integrates with WebCheckout to ensure that no equipment is double-booked.

With the PIR module, you can:

• Improve customer service by allowing patrons to browse and place reservations at their convenience
• Reduce your workload and unnecessary phone calls
• Allow patrons to make reservations and see the status of existing reservations
• Control which patrons can login
